  • Advantages of an ESA
  • Outline the process for establishing an ESA
  • Define the roles and responsibilities of the individuals involved
  • Explanation of qualified education expenses
  • IRS reporting requirements


With education costs increasing every year, now is the perfect time for your credit union to promote Coverdell ESAs.  Did you know that ESAs can be used to finance elementary, secondary, and post-secondary education expenses?  This session is an opportunity to learn about ESAs so you can inform your members about the value of setting aside funds which may be tax-free for their children’s or grandchildren’s education. 

Health Savings Accounts (HSAs)

: Knowledge of basic Traditional and Roth IRA rules

  • Definition of an HSA and the benefits to the credit union and your members
  • Eligibility requirements of an HSA
  • Contribution limits and deadlines
  • Distribution requirements for a HSA
  • IRS reporting guidelines


Health Savings Accounts are new to everyone, and this course provides a great overview on all of the “need to know” information to support your members.  Our expert training staff will provide you with a step-by-step understanding of the entire process.  You will leave this session with all of the tools you need to handle your members’ Health Savings Accounts.
